Day 1

May 17, 2012: the day you were born (a.k.a. the best day ever!)

Stats: Weight: 8 lbs 6 oz Height: 21 inches

Mama went into labor the morning before, and after a long night in the hospital, you finally made an appearance at 12:15 p.m. on Thursday, May 17, 2012. You were the most beautiful thing your Daddy and I had ever seen! We didn’t get much sleep in the hospital, mostly because we couldn’t take our eyes off of you. We love you so much, and everyone says you look like me. Your hair looks like it might be red, but it’ll be awhile before we can really tell.
